Ticket Sale Alert: American Idiot at the Opera House (not spam, just catchy)

deannawasiswillbe:

I have a ticket to see American Idiot at the Boston Opera House this Friday for sale. It’s only $20 and I’m pretty sure no one that follows me is from Boston but WHAT THE HECK here’s a go. If I tag it like crazy, someone is bound to see it.
So it’s Orchestra, row R, and only $20 so… yeah someone should go since my sister can’t anymore.

Shoot me a message if you’re interested. THANKS.

‘American Idiot’ packs emotional wallop with Green Day’s music ›

“American Idiot,’’ the stage adaptation of Green Day’s 2004 album, is a sustained cry of anger, disgust, and longing, dramatizing the frustrations and fears of a generation that sees nothing but dead ends in what one youthful character calls “a land of make-believe that don’t believe in me.’’

Feeling bad has seldom felt so good. The national touring production of “American Idiot,’’ with music by Green Day and lyrics by the band’s lead singer, Billie Joe Armstrong, has arrived at the Boston Opera House, and it is flat-out electrifying…

Chat it Up: Gerard Canonico ›

notrightneverwrong:

Excerpt: Gerard, amidst his crazy schedule, was kind enough to answer some questions for me and from the moment he teased me for calling him a “veteran” of theater, I knew this was going to be fun and he would reach a new tier of awesome. Like, so much fun, I needed to split this interview into two separate entries because there was too much awesome for any one post. Like, so much awesome that if he were any taller, his awesome would overtake the world in a rage of fury and leave a trail of fire behind causing the destruction of mankind.
